The Future for CREDA

CREDA’s work is related to other spheres of human development. CREDA’s success in the long run will depend on its ability to meet these demands whilst continuing with the existing schemes and staying focused on the elimination of child labour.

CREDA intends to extend its sphere of activities to holistic child development, community preventive health and lay more emphasis on social economic venture. Efforts will also be directed towards gender related issues: gender equity, child marriage, the empowerment of women both in the social and economic spheres and in particular the plight of adolescent girls and young underage girls who have already gone through child marriage.

Without viewing this as an additional programme, CREDA visualize this as a natural extension of its work and believes that community mobilisation and participaton will be facilitated.
